Sending out healing intentions to the human race one painting at a time.
I decided back in 2012 to start recognizing the kindnesses and selflessness happening in our world. I give my original art magnets
away locally and wherever I travel ,as a thank-you to those who help lighten the world with a kind action or word to another. (food
service, cashiers, road workers, teachers, someone who holds the door for another, etc. We are all in service to community)
I have had many tragedies in my life, from a drunk driver changing my spine forever at age 17, losing my brothers to drugs, and
watching my Mother slowly leave with dementia. We all have plenty to wallow in sadness and regret, and yet within each of us is a
spark of humanity which draws us forward into new awareness. When you change your perspective and look for the positive, your
life and others, feel the change.
In these clamant times, we need to focus on what makes us human. Our fires in Redding brought about such a sense of
community. Everyone lended a hand to help those in need with out consideration of anything but survival for all.
We are the human race, united by our belief that each person is born without prejudice, greed, or hate. May we raise our children
to rebuild humanity as a one world community.
We all can do something to create a difference in our world, no matter how small. Add a moment of appreciation to someone’s day
with a smile and a nod. We all desire a moment of hope and peace during these challenging times. We are facing this pandemic
together, unable to touch hands - let us touch each others hearts, as we work united to end this virus’s invasion together.
